The Digital Citizen Contribution Program focuses on reducing the spread of disinformation about Covid-19 for the following types of research projects:
- Understanding the role of algorithms, artificial intelligence, and other factors re: disinformation
- Understanding the domestic and transnational spread, evolution, and impacts of online disinformation
- Evaluate existing Canadian or international research and programming related to online disinformation
All funds must be spent by March 31, 2022.
