The Toronto Arts Foundation Resiliency Fund will direct financial support to Toronto’s artists and art workers. The fund will support charitable art organizations committed to paying fees to Toronto artists and art workers. This was launched with a lead donation of $1 million from the Hal Jackman Foundation. The Resiliency Fund is hoping to help as the world continues to feel the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, where the arts sector has endured quite a financial loss.

The Toronto Arts Foundation is looking for arts philanthropists, sponsors, and donors to make contributions to the Fund. These donations will be received through a year-long fundraising campaign and will allow additional rounds of funding for charitable organizations working in other disciplines.

Eligibility:

  • CRA registered charities
  • Organizations with budgets under $7.5M
  • Performing arts organizations that have received a TAC operating or project grant in theatre, music, or dance in the last two years (2020-22)

Please note: arts service organizations, schools, and community music-making organizations are not eligible to apply to Round 1.

We can help you win! Funding: $2,500 to $40,000

Deadline: April 6
